CBD – My Amazing Experience with It

Pass it on:

My Experience with CBD

I am not one to leave reviews, but this is just too important not to report. You have probably heard about Cannabidiol (CBD), and how it has helped people with epilepsy. Even Scientific American chimed in, but this is not about other people, it’s about me.

I am a very private person, so I am not that comfortable sharing issues that I am going through personally. However, I must get this out. Life experiences (traumatic) have had a severe effect on my mind. I developed an irrational sense of fear. I know that it is irrational, but when an attack starts, it’s very hard to stop it, and even more difficult to get through it. It’s sort of a panic attack, probably developed from PTSD. But whatever it is, when it starts, it is debilitating. I can’t do anything and have to lay down until the episode is over.

I actually went to the emergency room twice and checked to see if I am allergic to anything. It turns out that I am allergic to nothing, so these attacks are all mental. The attacks usually happen when I do not get enough sleep, but I can feel it coming when I wake up.

I tried everything, and I don’t want to take pharmaceuticals since they change how our brains function. They mask the problem but don’t solve it. I used to use Benadryl when an attack came on, and it sometimes worked, but it just made dealing with the attack a little easier.

The Miracle of CBD

When I started learning about CBD, I began researching it and wrote about it here. After knowing it’s calming effects and bringing the body back into homeostasis, I decided to try it. I researched and found a company that has been making hemp products for over 30+ years. Their name is Elixinol, and they have many products. My first reaction was that the product(s) can be expensive, but I would do anything to solve my anxiety/panic attacks. As I wrote in my post about CBD, anxiety, and ailments like it, come from an inflammation of the brain. Actually, most health issues arise from a sort of inflammation. CBD gets rid of the inflammation and balances the entire body and mind.

CBD to the Rescue

So, I made a decision and bought Respira Versatile CBD Tinctures. It arrived, and I have been taking one dose a day in the morning. I noticed some subtle changes, but I noticed that my psoriasis on my elbows and knees started to go away. I was more focused and less anxious, but I did not have an attack, yet.

This morning, I woke up, and I felt an attack coming. I got out of bed and took one dose of Elixinol, and laid down for a bit. I decided to take one more just to be safe. Honestly, the attack felt like it was coming on strong, but the CBD was taming it. Even though I was feeling the physiological and mental effects of the attack, they weren’t that strong. 30 minutes later, it dissipated. I did not experience the amount of irrational fear that I would normally. It worked!

I want everyone to know about the miracle that CBD is. Furthermore, the cannabis plant has over 100 other cannabinoids that are surely beneficial. But most of us don’t like to get high, so CBD is a great alternative. Nonetheless, the cannabis plant needs to be removed from Schedule I of the Controlled Substance Act (CSA), so that more research can be done. Legalizing marijuana is such an important step to take if we are to be compassionate to people that have issues that traditional medicine cannot solve.

I recommend CBD in general, but I can only report on what I have tried myself. If you do decide to buy from Elixinol from the CBD Online Store, use this code WU10 at checkout and get 10% off your purchase.
